This 275 acre farm located in Donegal Township was established in 1974 as a Fox Hunting Barn and Training Facility, it moved into the Belgian business with the demise of the local Fox Hunt. Quarter Horses and Sport Horses were added later. At one point Clairlea Farm stood 5 Stallions, 2 Belgians, 2 Quarter Horses and 1 Thoroughbred.  We have buried three of them at ages 23, 24 and 26.  With our desire to concentrate on Sport Horses we sold our last Belgian in the fall of 2014.  Today there is a Quarter Horse Stallion, living in his field with his girls.
